Amplifier Audio Control does not require an account, display advertisements, include third-party analytics, sell personal information, or send amplifier information to Auburn Technology Solutions.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Auburn Technology Solutions, LLC ("Auburn Technology Solutions," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Amplifier Audio Control mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information through Amplifier Audio Control. The App does not require you to create an account and does not transmit your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or amplifier credentials or configuration to us.
The App does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics software development kits.
3. Local Network Access
Amplifier Audio Control requests access to your local network so it can discover, connect to, monitor, and control compatible audio amplifiers. This connection enables the App to retrieve amplifier status and perform actions you request, such as adjusting channel volume and mute settings.
- Communication occurs directly between your device and the compatible amplifier.
- Amplifier names, IP addresses, channel status, volume, mute state, and related device information are processed on your device.
- This information is not transmitted to Auburn Technology Solutions or stored on our servers.
Amplifier Audio Control communicates with compatible amplifiers using their local network control interface. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the local network on which the App and amplifiers operate.
4. Information Stored on Your Device
To provide a convenient experience, Amplifier Audio Control may store limited preferences locally on your device, including:
- The amplifier names and IP addresses you configure;
- Basic application and interface preferences;
- Identifiers needed to associate locally stored amplifier credentials; and
- Other basic interface preferences needed for App operation.
These settings remain on your device and are not sent to us. If amplifier administrator credentials are provided, they are stored locally using Apple Keychain services and are not transmitted to Auburn Technology Solutions.
5. How Information Is Used
Information received from a compatible amplifier is used only to display system status and perform commands that you initiate within the App. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, analytics, marketing, or any unrelated purpose.
6. Sharing and Sale of Information
We do not sell, rent, disclose, or share personal information or amplifier information because the App does not collect or receive that information on our systems. Amplifier Audio Control does not use advertising networks, data brokers, or third-party analytics providers.
7. Apple Services
Apple may independently process information related to downloading, purchasing, updating, testing, or diagnosing the App through the App Store, TestFlight, iOS, or other Apple services. Apple's handling of that information is governed by Apple's own privacy policies and is not controlled by Amplifier Audio Control or Auburn Technology Solutions.

8. Data Retention and Deletion
Because we do not collect information through the App, we do not retain App user data on our servers. Configured amplifiers may be removed within the App. You may also remove locally stored App data by deleting the App from your device, subject to the normal behavior of iOS and Apple Keychain services.
Settings or changes applied directly to an amplifier may remain stored by that amplifier after the App is deleted. Those settings must be managed through Amplifier Audio Control, the amplifier's own management interface, or other applicable device administration tools.
9. Children's Privacy
Amplifier Audio Control is a technical control utility intended for amplifier owners, installers, administrators, and authorized operators. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
Amplifier Audio Control minimizes privacy risk by avoiding accounts and remote data collection. Access to the local network remains subject to the security of your device, Wi-Fi network, and amplifier installation. Use appropriate network access controls and keep supported devices and system firmware up to date.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Amplifier Audio Control, legal requirements, or our privacy practices. The updated policy will be posted at this location with a revised "Last updated" date. If an update materially changes how information is handled, we will provide notice as required by applicable law.
